Abed-Hernandez selected to Lead Downtown Raleigh Cleaning Ambassador Program

Block by Block is honored to announce the selection of Rahef Abed-Hernandez as the new Block by Block Operations Manager assigned to the Downtown Raleigh Alliance Cleaning Ambassador Program.

Mr. Hernandez brings to Block by Block and the Downtown Raleigh Alliance a great deal of management experience and expertise from his twenty-plus year career in the United States Army. As a retired Sergeant First Class Mr. Hernandez has been assigned to various missions to include heading up a Military Surgical Facility, a Military Veterinary Unit and has served as a Platoon Sergeant. The diversity in his assignments will certainly be an asset to the variety of new responsibilities as the Operations Manager of the Downtown Raleigh Cleaning Ambassador Program.

In his new role Mr. Hernandez will be responsible for all day to day operational duties and serve as the main client contact for the Downtown Raleigh Alliance account. Specific duties associated with successfully running the account include oversight of deploying resources (personnel and equipment) in the service district, client and stakeholder relations, recruitment, selection, training and oversight of personnel and general back-office functions to include payroll, background screening and procurement.

Personally Rahef is married and is the father of one daughter.
