Patrick West Named Operations Manager

Effective July 21, 2003, after merging
management responsibility of Downtown Cincinnati Inc, Over-the-Rhine,
and Findlay Market (Block by Block accounts), Patrick West
was named Operations Manager. Block by Block provides Environmental
Maintenance, Supplemental Safety, and Hospitality services
for Downtown Cincinnati Inc, Over-the-Rhine, and Findlay
Market.
In his new role, Mr. West will serve as
the primary liaison between Block by Block and Downtown
Cincinnati Inc, Over-the-Rhine, and Findlay Market. He
will have overall responsibility for direction and continual
quality improvement of services provided by Block by Block
Ambassadors. Additional duties include working closely
with representatives of the City of Cincinnati and Downtown
Cincinnati Inc to ensure that the mission of both organizations
are accomplished, development of innovative programs, implementing
new strategies to enhance the level of services, and create
good will by serving as a daily contact with local business
owners, property managers, and stakeholders. Downtown Cincinnati
Inc and Over-the-Rhine represent about 160 square blocks
and Block by Block employs forty-six ambassadors that are
assigned to both accounts.

In addition to naming Mr. West as the
Operations Manager, Odell Neal was named as the Operations
Supervisor for Downtown Cincinnati Inc and Barry Usleaman
was named Operations Supervisor for Over-the-Rhine and
Findlay Market. Both Odell and Barry report to Mr. West
and are responsible for the daily performance of Ambassadors.
