Steve Hillard Named General Manager of Block by Block

Effective October 1, 2002, Mr. Steve Hillard officially assumed the role of General Manager for all operations associated with Block by Block, a division of Brantley Services. Block by Block provides management and staffing services for improvement districts and was formed to better serve existing customers and to develop brand name recognition nationwide. Mr. Hillard is responsible for new business development, program implementation, quality assurance, implementation of new strategies, direction and development of personnel and client relations.

Brantley Security, Inc. has employed Mr. Hillard since July 2000 where he served as the General Manager in Cincinnati / Northern Kentucky. Prior to joining Brantley Security, Mr. Hillard was the Vice President / General Manager for an international security provider and had responsibility for their healthcare security practice nationwide. Additionally, Mr. Hillard was the Director of Security, Parking and Transportation for a national healthcare provider. During his fifteen-year security career, his operational programs have been featured nationally in various security publications and with the Professional Security Television Network (PSTN). Mr. Hillard has presented both customer service and security related topics at numerous national and regional workshops and seminars. He has testified as an expert witness on the topics of kidnappings from healthcare facilities and security protection systems. He served as the Vice President/Treasurer and Executive Advisor to the Board of Directors for the International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS) and local chapter leadership positions with ASIS International. Mr. Hillard is an active member of the IAHSS, ASIS International and the International Downtown Association (IDA).
