(Block by Block) Awarded Capital Crossroads

On August 23, 2001 Brantley Services, Inc. was awarded the
contract for the Special Improvement District in downtown
Columbus, Ohio. This is the fourth Business Improvement District
(BID) the company has acquired, including Louisville, Kentucky,
Nashville, Tennessee, and Cincinnati, Ohio. The newest addition
involves 35 team members located within a 25 square block
area in downtown Columbus.
The Special Improvement District is setup with both Safety
and Environmental Maintenance Ambassadors with the addition
of a Project Manger, Supervisors and Dispatch Operators. All
personnel will be charged with giving public assistance and
directions as well as showing a visible presence. The safety
ambassadors will serve as extra eyes and ears for the Columbus
Police Department. In addition, the Environmental Maintenance
Ambassadors will remove litter from all sidewalks and alleyways
(both mechanical and manual), graffiti removal, snow removal
and various other maintenance issues. Both positions are responsible
for the overall safety and cleanliness of the downtown area. |
